If there is alot of slack, the bearings are bad. Another Tell-Tale sign is popping or grinding coming from the wheel hubs. Installation Pro Tip: The night before you will install the bearings, put them in the freezer. Also, coat the outside of the bearing and hub with a light coat of grease. The freezing will shrink the bearings slightly and the grease will make the install and pressing the bearings in much easier. We are glad to help any way we can. Let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on 鶹. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Customers like the quality of the hardware bearing. They mention it's a good product and the piece is conforming to their expectations. However, some customers have mixed opinions on the fit.
Customers have mixed opinions about the fit of the product. Some mention it's identical to the original and the dimensions are the same. However, others say it's the wrong size for a Yamaha grizzly 660.
*UPDATE* The 2 bearings I installed failed. I highly recommend greasing these before installing. When I pulled the hub off, the ball bearings were literally falling out of the bearing races and everything looked very dry. Poorly sealed or inadequate/poor quality grease? Either way, for the price these bearings will certainly get you up and running. I will see how long the 2 I just installed last for this time around.
I installed 2 of the 4 bearings. The quality looks to be as good as other replacements I've used. The price cannot be beat. Too many factors go into how long a bearing will last, but a defective bearing will show itself quite quickly. I've put about 100km on the new bearings and no issues so far.
Bought these for my buddy so we could do his bearings before a big camping trip. As he replaced them last year and either had bad ones or did it wrong. Made sure to install them properly and grease them. We'll see how they last for 25 bucks being on sale can't beat the price. Usually 35 bucks a piece
