    Remember when you could buy a hand tool and expect it to last at least a handful of years ? Well, this one seems well-built, has a good solid feel in operation and works very well, so may fit that expectation.
    This opener was purchased to replace another, less costly, but very similar one that was purchased on 鶹 just a few months ago but did not hold up well at all. The parts that failed on that one are made differently on this Oneida one and seem to be made better and to closer tolerances. The larger crank-style handle actually almost makes opening large cans fun ! Time will tell, and I will return to give an update in a month or three ............
