NOTE:

1. Please thoroughly read the user manual before using.
2. If the unit sounds all the time or it is of malfunction, please reinstall the battery to repeat the operation OR Please put it into clear air until it's normal. If CO ALARM BEEPS：Only when detected clear air can it silence the CO alarm(if the room still exists high level of CO, the alarm will keep alarming until the air was cleaned)

• Test the alarm First, HOW TO TEST IT(3 steps):

1. Step 1: Install the batteries in clean air , then press the test button for five seconds to test the units electronics, beeps will sound if it's normal;
2. Step 2: Leave it in clean air for one minute;
3. Step 3: Then put it into a sealed bag, spray some smoke or CO gas into the bag and seal it. Waiting for about one minute, the Alarm will go off if it's normal.

[NOTE: DO NOT test it by directly burning something under this alarm, which is an invalid test.]

• HOW TO SILENCE THE ALARM

1. SMOKE ALARM BEEPS: When smoke alarm beeps you can press the test/rest button to enter it into mute state(NOTE: If you want to exit the mute state, you need to press the button again-[Manually exit]; or it will auto-exit the mute state after waiting for about 6 munites or when the alarm detected clean air-[Auto-exit])
2. CO ALARM BEEPS：Only when detected clear air can it silence the CO alarm(if the room still exists high level of CO, the alarm will keep alarming until the air was cleaned)

[NOTE: If the unit sounds all the time, The unit is of malfunction. please Reinstall the battery to repeat the operation OR Please put it into clear air Until the unit is normal.]

1. Sensitivity & Time for CO Alarm: 70PPM Between 60 to 240 minutes; 150PPM Between 10 to 50 minutes; 400PPM Between 4 to 15 minutes

• Easy to install

1. Turn the alarm body counterclockwise and take off the bracket.(When installation please follow the circular arrow direction that Marked on the product for rotating the Mounting base/Bracket: PRESS DOWN AND TWIST)
2. Hold the bracket in the installation position as specified in the Recommended Locations, mark installation holes of the bracket with pencil.
3. Drill the two marked installation holes; Tap the two plastic grommets into holes with hammer.
4. Mount the bracket to the ceiling by inserting and tightening the supplied screws into plastic grommets. Fix the alarm on the bracket and turn the alarm body clockwise, until fully inserted on the bracket. Do not install it in kitchens/garages/furnace room/bathrooms, INSTALL AT LEAST 15 FEET AWAY FROM ANY FUEL BURNING APPLIANCE.

• Appearance and Button

1. Green LED: The green LED flashes every 40 seconds to indicate the unit operate properly
2. Red LED: When a dangerous level of smoke or carbon monoxide is detected the red LED will continuously flash and the alarm will sound: The alarm sound pattern is four short alarm beeps for CO alarm and continuous beeps for the smoke alarm.
3. One ‘chirp’ every 40 seconds is an indication that the battery is low
