I received this 24 piece package of egg cartons in 6 different colors to give to my friend who has chickens. They come in pink, yellow, green, blue, purple and orange and are perfect for Easter. Each container holds 6 eggs and can be used for regular sized farm eggs, Easter eggs, home eggs, markets or crafts. They have a sturdy recycled cardboard construction similar to a standard egg carton and a clamshell shape and buckle design, providing good protection foo your eggs. The egg baskets are made by high temperature pressing, making them able to absorb humidity so your eggs stay dry and fresh. They stack together taking up less storage space. These cartons are reusable and are blank on top to put your own stamp, sticker or writing. These did also come with some cute stickers that you can record the date on. Even tho these work out to be a bit pricey per carton, I think it’s kind of expected for a specialty / custom item and I think they are so cute!

    We live in a rural area and many farmers have self-serve stations selling their produce. This is a buy and trade system based on the honor system and has worked well in our community. You approach the station, take what you need and leave the cash in a box. We get many of our vegetables this way, honey, corn and even eggs. Those that have eggs for sale are always asking for folks to leave empty cartons as these dedicated containers are the safest way to transport eggs and they always run out of cartons. I'm going to leave some of these cartons at the stand on my next visit and I know they will be greatly appreciated.

    These are good quality half dozen egg cartons. The lid closes and locks in place with a push tab preventing accidental opening of the carton. The colors do make it fun but serve a practical purpose as well as you can readily sort by date/color of acquisition. Each carton can carry 6 eggs and there are 24 cartons in all. Any chicken coop farm would greatly appreciate these cartons. These cartons can be reused many times and are recyclable when it's time to dispose.

    These half-dozen egg cartons are good quality. They’re made from a paper-like material, similar to standard egg cartons, and feel sturdy enough for regular use. The color is cute, and they fit regular-sized chicken eggs well.

    When closed, the lid latches securely and stays shut, which is important for transporting eggs.

    At over $1 per carton, I do find them a bit overpriced, so I took one star off for value. Other than that, they work great and I would recommend them.

    These colourful half dozen egg cartons are perfect for splitting up and sharing real eggs, or using as a storage solution for Easter decorative eggs that you have created.

    The pulp container is a standard egg carton and is very durable. The colours are very vibrant and seasonally appropriate for Easter.

    My family plans to use these as their egg hunt collectors and because they come in 6 different colours, we can change it up year over year so they’re different each time!

    The closing latch on the front holds well, but by no means is it a lock so take caution when transporting.

    These are fantastic for transporting eggs! Super fun colours for Easter or just to brighten someone’s day. Solid, sturdy construction is thicker than the store cartons of eggs. They are a little light for large eggs but fit medium eggs perfectly. Large eggs work, they are just a snug fit for closing. The closed hold is firm and I love the high center supports. These easily transported eggs to work on foot in a backpack for hubby’s lunches. I’m not sure if it’s the construction or the dye or what but they have a little more water resistance than the store egg cartons as well, don’t get them wet, but a little water didn’t soak them and on them instantly!

    We have new chickens who aren't producing a lot of eggs yet, so I wanted to order some smaller sized egg cartons. And these are super cute! Just note, they fit chicken eggs, but I don't think they're big enough for larger bird eggs.

    Obviously, the colours are very eye catching, but I'm really impressed with the quality. The pulp is a little thicker than the usual egg carton, and are very durable. We could absolutely use these multiple times. I love that if we need to, they can go right into the green bin for composting. There's no issues with the lids staying in place or staying closed.

    Would also be great for Easter or craft days with the kids. They'd be easy to decorate and for kids to cut through for crafts or colour as well.
