    As a physical media collector (and a tad OCD), I have gone through a journey of finding the best way of storing my movies. I started out just displaying them out in the open, but I grew out of that. Just the thought of the movies getting dusty or the spines getting sun damaged was more than I could stand. I wanted an option for my movies that kept them stored away, but I could still place on the shelf and have it contribute an organizational vibe to the room as a whole.

    I first tried the clear plastic carry case organizers, but there was no way of leaving them out without giving off the impression, "I just moved in but I couldn't be bothered to unpack." It was giving "Boy in the Plastic Bubble," giving...the same aesthetic as people who cover their sofas and chairs in plastic. You'd think being OCD, I would go for that, but uh, no. Go figure.

    Next, I tried the snap-N-store storage boxes sized specifically for blu-rays and DVDs. This worked for a while. I could stack them on top of each other on the book shelf and it gave a very simple, clean, elegant look. The issue was that the snaps could easily snap loose whenever I handled the boxes. They hold up fine with ordinary blu-rays and DVDs that weigh mere ounces, but once you get to the complete series box sets, special limited editions, steelbooks--then it becomes a problem.

    Finally, I saw these storage boxes with the magnetic closure that I just wanted to try out, and you know what? This might actually be exactly what I've been looking for. They come in a pack of two which you have to assemble out the box. It's not hard. Actually, it's kind of ingenious how they initially came. It folds like an origami box and you have to peel off the corner stickers and bring the sides together and voila!--you have a pretty sturdy cardboard storage box. Now, the specifications of this box were designed solely for blu-rays and 4K. Almost exactly, like, it's a snuggest of snug fits. I bought these to store my collection of blu-ray steelbooks, and I was able to fit 19 movies. However, many other special kinds of blu-rays like complete series box sets don't quite fit. Some fit just fine, like my 30 Rock and Doctor Who series box sets. But others like my Legend of Korra steelbooks fit...kinda, but their inclusion prevents the box lid from fully closing. However, forget putting something like the Sailor Moon limited edition series boxes in there. They simply don't fit at all.

    It's unfortunate that these boxes specifically designed for blu-rays can't fit every type of blu-ray, but they fit enough kinds that I can only think of taking off one star from my rating. The build quality, sturdiness, and clean style of these boxes really impress me at the end of the day.
