The “easy-pour spigot” is far from easy to operate. It is hard to turn and the handle is placed too close to the spigot making it hard to manoeuvre. The lever used for opening and closing the spigot broke after our second camping trip. As far as “sturdy”, as the water level goes down, the container collapses in a way that it does not balance properly and tips easily. Would have expected better quality from Coghlan’s. Past the 30 day refund period, so I feel it was a waste of $20.

    we've used these for as long as i could remember as a kid... thankfully i saw a bpa-free stamp when i unpacked... as for the spout leakage... it's important to be threaded on properly and tight. wipe it dry when filling, make sure its flipped up, spout to the sky and tighten carefully and slowly and test as you lower it. make sure the pout is turned to off, it's printed on the white spout handle. i also transport it upright un a camp washing bowl in the car during travel, as there are rocky dirt roads... so far so good...

    This water container is plenty large enough to haul water for camp, but unfortunately the product that was shipped to me arrived damaged.

    The pliable material is so soft and vulnerable that the packaging process creased the TPU plastic. When I unfurled the water bottle to assess its condition, I noticed that the creases were in every fold that the product was packed with.

    This leads me to believe that the product life for this particular container will be short-lived. I am in the process of returning this item and hope that other customers do not have the same experience.

    For the record, all parts and pieces arrived as described and this does seem like an ok product. Just not the one shipped to me!

    Se batalla mucho para desplegar y para plegar, al ser tan endeble el contenedor no mantiene su forma de cubo, parece mas bien una esfera.
    El cargar el cubo de la asa parece que se fuera a reventar pero mas bien lo que pasa es que el agua se adapta a la forma elongada del contenedor cuando lo cargamos por el asa y se empieza a salir por la tapa.
    Lo uso muy poco solo para almacenar un 70% de la capacidad del cubo no más ppr lo complicado de su manejo.
    Otro tema es la llave, el plastico es mucho menos resistente se siente en la calidad del material y la posicion de la llave queda en la curvatura del borde del contendor por lo que hace mas dificil abrirlo o colocarlo sobre una superficie, ademas de la fugas que tiene.
    No lo volveria a pedir!

    This thing is pretty sturdy. The handle is built in like a milk carton so it's all one piece. I use this for cookouts when I just need a hand rinsing station next to me, and used it to rinse hands and feet at the beach. Overall a good product, it could use a vent at the top to get a better flow, but it does keep the water from draining super fast. Only drawback I would say is the spout placement sometimes it makes it a little awkward for the jug to sit flat and be able to run the spout because the jug is not super rigid, but it works none the less. I have gotten my money worth, and would buy again if I need to replace.
