    This product is amazing! I used the EcoOne Filter Cleaner on my hot tub filter after having not even rinsed it for at least six weeks. It was pretty disgusting. I really wish I'd taken a photo of it before cleaning. I let the filter soak overnight, gave it a light rinse with the hose and now it looks like a brand new filter! I've tried other filter cleaners, and have been disappointed by all of them. I was thinking that I might be better off buying a new filter every time I changed the water. I'm so glad I tried EcoOne! I love that it's Earth-friendly and it doesn't cause any foaming in my hot tub. This is good stuff!

    After using several other filter cleaning options for my hot tub filters...I settled on this one. You don't need as much of it to mix in the water which means a bottle will last me a few months. I have a 325 gallon Hot Springs tub with the pleated round filters. I put all 5 in a 17 gallon tote with 6 capfuls of this. There is no discernable smell and if you rinse well it will not cause foam. So far so good.

    Oh I love this stuff! Any other spa filter cleaner I've used will leave a somewhat "soapy" residue for lack of a better description. No matter how much I rinsed it, once reinstalled and the hot tub turned on, there would be a certain amount of "foam" that had to be dealt with. Also, the other cleaners were not nearly so thorough. This product is wonderful....I merely lower my filter in a deep bucket (allowing the entire filter to be submerged in hot water) that contains a couple tablespoons of this cleaner swished around and leave it to soak about an hour or so. I merely have to take it out and use the kitchen sprayer on it to rinse. The filter comes out sparkling white, and squeaky clean. Absolutely NO foam to contend with and the filter looks like new. Let it dry and reinsert it when you are ready for it. I highly recommend this product.

    I was using the Leisure Time filter cleaner for the past year and decided to try this one. Right away I noticed a huge difference in the water in the filter soak bucket. When I would use the Leisure Time the water stayed clear. But when I used this product the water in the bucket was cloudy and grimy (indicating that the product was cleaning the filter and getting all the contaminats off). After I sprayed the filter with clean water it was white\white and looked brand new.
    Also, two capfuls per 5 gallons to clean the filter is a steal. Leisure Time required half a bottle only giving me 2 soaks per bottle. This product will get me 14 soaks per bottle.

    Highly recommend.

    It works. I have to use more than it calls for, but it works. I heat a bunch of water in the microwave, then pour it into a large cooler. The chemicals will not dissolve if you don't use boiling water. Once I fill up the cooler with the chemicals and hot water, I put the pool filter in. I usually spray the filter down first with the hose to get all the bad stuff out. I let it soak overnight with the lid down. It does clean it pretty good; however; I've noticed that dishwasher detergent and Borax pretty much do the exact same thing for a whole lot less money.
