    This is an absolutely amazing game. The graphics are gorgeous, the music is hauntingly beautiful, the story is sad and intriguing, and the gameplay is addicting. If you are on the fence about this game, quit hesitating. You will not regret it. I've seen a few places that called it a "souls-like," it is not. There is parrying and dodging during battles, but it is not too hard to get the hang of it. If you die, the most that will happen is you spend a few seconds getting back to the monster that defeated you. You don't lose anything, and monsters only respawn if you rest.

    This is the first game in a long time that I have to drag myself away from my console. I make plans on when I can get back to playing. I'm happy it's going to rain for three days because I won't feel guilty about not getting outside yardwork done, and I can beat some more monsters instead. The makers of Clair Obscur knocked it out of the park. I hope to see many more games from them.
