    I have been wanting to get a set of interchangeable knitting needles for awhile now. I kept looking at this set because I am in no way comfortable paying a lot of money for one of those crazy high priced sets.

    This set has worked well, so far. The only thing I wish they did different was have the sizes on the needles rather than just on the case it comes with. I do have a knitting needle size gauge, but it would just be nice to be able to look at the needle and see the size it is. Especially if you have multiple projects on the go.

    I would give this product 5 stars except for the longest cable which arrived damaged. The wire cable inside the plastic coating has splintered and one sliver has broken through the plastic. Pricked my finger and would definitely catch and damage yarn. I covered the section with duct tape but it’s far from ideal. The rest of the set looks quite reasonable. I’d appreciate receiving a replacement for that cable, but don’t see how that considerable inconvenience could happen

    I’ve had them for barely 30 mins and the needle has already snapped (the interchangeable screw snapped inside one of the needles and it can no longer be used with another cable even). Spend more money on quality needles. The do not offer refunds.

    These needles are nice. I love having interchangeables. My main issue is that
    no instructions were included. The kit contains several odd-looking bits of metal that I’d never seen before. So I ignored them and just used the needles and cables and started to knit. From the start, the cable worked loose from the needles periodically. I mean it completely separated, which caused my stitches to fall off. I then started to regularly tighten the connection area, which was annoying to do but worked as long as I remembered to check often. I eventually got sick of doing this and googled my problem, only to learn that those odd bits of metal in the kit are some type of key that you use to tighten the needles so that the cables don’t come loose. I had to watch an amateur YouTube video to find out how to use the keys. If you lose them (they are small), I don’t know how you can separate the cable from the needle to switch cables. Anyway, if only the seller had included a little more info in the package, it would have saved me some trouble. They didn’t even enclose a receipt in the package.
    But I love the needles and
    am glad I bought them.

    Once finally arrived the knitting needles themselves are absolutely fine, it is the cables that are not. The first thing was the holes in the metal part to connect cable to needle was very sharp, bad enough to cut fingers. Luckily the grip pad was tough enough to use as an emery board. The next problem was with the permanent junction of the plastic cable to its metal end - not smooth at all on most of the cables, making a step for every stitch to go over, and hence damaging the yarn. These were to be my permanent complete interchangeable set, having bought a much cheaper set of circular needles which are not interchangeable while I waited for these to arrive (5 weeks from ordering on amazon!)
    My cheap set arrived in a couple of days and were at least usable.
