Here are two pictures of the plugs , the lamp has the plug attached turned on via an extention cord also 12 volt . The wall socket is not connected at the distribution panel but shows plug inserted . My entire house is wired this way . I plan to use the second plug on my solar fridge .

    Bought a pack of these so I could install a headrest DVD system in my 2020 Honda CRV. Package arrived quickly and quality appeared very good. Connected all cables to my DVD system and plugged into the 12V outlet in my vehicle, and immediately blew the fuse. This adapter unscrews very easily to remove the fuse - I discovered the internal fuse was 10A and seeing as my outlet is rated for 15A max, proceeded to switch out the fuse. That did the trick - and with the 15A fuse installed, the DVD system works like a charm! The bonus of having a second one is that I have a spare readily available. Would recommend this to anyone looking to install a DVD system or anything requiring 12-24V out of your 12V power socket.
