My machine started glitching on and off. Now it will will not power on at all! I called the customer service number at ChefWave and was told that there was nothing they can do and was offered to be transferred to the sales team so I can buy a new one!!

RUN from this product and purchase a Nespresso - it is better quality and the customer support is better as well.

We fell in love with one of these while staying at a very high-end hotel & had to have one of our own. The little coffee pods are super tasty & rich in flavor. I can only drink decaf, which does not take away the richness at all. Hubby can drink the caffeine & loves the variety of choices. Best for me is the froth. It’s so creamy. Cup size for super rich taste: go with the small. Ease of use, the old cup drops down when you get ready for a new cup. Very clean, fits everywhere & is stylish too. Works like a real espresso maker but saves on the price.

The machine seems to be working fine, so as long as that continues, we are fairly happy with the machine itself.

Also, it isn't "really loud", unlike some reviews say. Espresso machines make noise. This is just a fact. This one is actually not loud at all.

HOWEVER, lost stars due to FALSE ADVERTISING and really inept customer service.

THERE IS NO STEAM WAND MILK FROTHER WITH THIS MACHINE.

I saw this mentioned in reviews and asked the question publicly again myself. I received a couple of answers that said no, and maybe one answer that declared happiness with the machine but didn't really answer the question. The company took forever to answer and they said, yes, there was one include. I even brought up the fact that there were reports from other customers that this was not the case. That did not change their answer. Additionally, I had asked 2 other questions, one of them being about the warranty, the other about descaling powder included in another version, and it was difficult to ever get answers. When I finally did receive answers they asked me to repeat the question... even though I could see the messages back and forth in a thread through the application. They even asked what product I was talking about at one point...(?!?! the questions literally come through attached to the product listing)

The only reason I went through with this purchase is because this is the machine my husband wanted the most out of all of the ones that we have seen. It reminds him the most of one that we have used with which he has happy memories. This man does not usually make emotional decisions, so I wanted to honor this moment for him.

As I said, the machine seems to be fine, and I hope that remains the case- but the customer service is severely lacking, and they don't even bother to look into their own product or messages before answering a question...
And clearly their listing is lying.

When I reported this discrepancy, the message I received was a request to give them my order number... seriously? It's right there in the thread message...

So buyer beware, in regard to service and inauthenticity.

I’ve been using this espresso machine for about six weeks and overall it’s decent. As others have noted, it is noisy but not much more than other ones I’ve had. Also, comparing this to the $200+ machine I replaced with this one, it makes a richer espresso. The major complaint I have is that sometimes it only brews about 1/2 a demitasse and I don’t see a pattern that would indicate why this happens. There is a feature to program how much is dispensed, but changing that hasn’t solved the problem yet. If this machine holds up in the long term, it will have been a worthwhile purchase.

Update 6/24: I contacted the seller regarding the custom water volume feature. It was not dispensing the set amount even after resetting and reprogramming. Their customer service agreed to replace the espresso maker after verifying the problem. It shipped quickly and I only missed a week's worth of my espresso fix. Highly recommend this product's value per dollar.

Update 7/27/24
Seller sent me a new machine again due to the first replacement developing the same problem as the first. This is the third machine. Customer service didn't even question the problem or offer troubleshooting, they just told me send a pic of the cut cord and they'd send another replacement. That makes it sound like a known problem for this model. Delivery in 2 days but I'd like to not have to go through the same thing again.
