First of all, let me start by saying that this product is not going to be your usual coconut milk texture. It is natural and has absolutely no preservatives - even when products are organic they still have preservatives to keep them fresh - but not this one. And because it has no preservatives added, the texture is different. Many people have mentioned that the product might have gone bed, and this is very incorrect. It's just that the milk becomes more condensed when at room temperature or stores in the fridge (basically the fat and the watery parts separate). To make the texture milky, simply put the can in warm water for a few minutes before opening. I did try cooking with this coconut milk without putting the can into warm water, and the texture of my curry was not the way I wanted. So highly recommended to have the can sit in hot water to warm up the milk and make it the milky texture that we want. Other than that - which I think is perfectly acceptable given the great quality of this product with no preservatives, the actual coconut milk tastes great. It is a bit pricier than some other options on 鶹, however, worth the money for the fact that it is natural AND bonus is 1% goes to elephants in Sri Lanka! Now who doesn't want to contribute to that!
