    This is the 3rd or 4th charging cable and the most expensive one we have bought to replace the original cable. Hoping that this one would most closely match the original given its price. Performance when first plugged in was great. It didn't last long, less than a week. Charging slowed down significantly thereafter. Tablet soon started to display message asking for original cable to be used or charging would take longer. Every replacement cable we have bought has had the same result. It could be the battery but I have replaced the battery so I can only guess it's incompatible aftermarket equipment or the tablet hardware/software is at fault. I will buy cheaper generic cables in the future if they all perform so poorly. Eventually I will buy a different brand of tablet.
