So far so good. (keep in mind that there is a newer version of this model, so maybe opt for that?)
As far as build quality, right out of the package it felt much heavier and better made than the those cheap ones you yet at a gas station of dollar store, so the heft and casing does speak to overall substance in manufacturing. The curly usb c- c cable is also of good quality and I am hoping it will hold out for a good long time. (but time will tell, and I will mention it again.)
I generally take really good care of my cables and try not yank on them or dangle things and let them drop, so I can't account for the longevity in the case of those people that do.

It is a simple matte black. but looks pretty cool with the blue ring light around it to indicate the power as well as the voltage reading.

One of the sides just regularly charged my S22, but the other side ultra charged it and was from about 20% to 60% in about 10 minutes if that. The only thing is that the ultra fast charging does heat up the unit which would be understandable, except that it was advertised to remain cool. I don't know if that comes down to my Subaru or the unit itself, so I may have to play around with that in another vehicle.

All in all it is better than ones I've used before, and I'm not sure if that means the others just set the bar so low and this one is still mediocre, or if whether one just has to expect that non GaN charging is going to create heat.

The reason I am also giving it 3.5 stars is because I think the price could be lower for what you are getting. $13.99CAD Max (though I do see a coupon available)

Listen, you aren't going to feel remorse about it, but I will do an update in about 2 weeks.

The “Bangfun 4-Port 65W Super Fast Car Phone Charger Dual 12V USB-C & USB-A Cigarette Lighter Adapter with Voltage Display” appears to be a well-built USB car charger that looks good and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The external casing of this charger is all made of black aluminum, which is excellent at dissipating heat and should not break under normal use. The provided USB-C to USB-C coiled cable is also very thick, sturdy and retracts back to its coiled form with ease.

The charger is rated at 65W max and the output is 5V and 3A / 3.1A on the ports, as indicated on the body of the charger. When you insert the charger into a 12V cigarette lighter port in a car, it lights up blue and the red voltage indicator comes on in the middle (see pictures). I plugged my Samsung Galaxy phone to it with the supplied USB-C to USB-C coiled charging cable and the phone started charging right away.

My Samsung Galaxy displayed 55 minutes to full charge from 42% on the Type-C port (normal charge) and 23 minutes to full charge on the PD 30W port (fast charge). This is a great option to have, as you can choose to charge your device quicker in an urgent situation, or to charge it nice and slow when not in a rush. Keeping in mind that quick charging is not good on lithium batteries in the long term, having this option to tailor the charging speed to one’s needs is a very nice feature indeed!

Another nice and practical feature of this charger is the battery voltage indicator, which is more than just a nice-looking decorative gimmick. The real-time voltage indicator can be an actual tool you can use to estimate the health of your car’s battery and alternator. A good alternator that charges a 12V battery properly will display a voltage in the range of 14 to 15 Volts when the engine is on and running at idle, whereas a good battery should maintain a voltage above 12 Volts when the engine is off. I have tested this charger on my truck with the engine on / engine off and the values displayed in both scenarios are very accurate. The truck does have a brand new battery and alternator.

Finally, this car charger does not heat up at all while plugged in and charging a device, which is an indicator of its’ good build quality. One thing I have noticed is that you can screw off the end cap where you’d usually have a fuse on 12V cigarette lighter adapters. This car charger has no fuse at all and the circuit board is glued on the inside, as indicated in the picture. This means that if there’s ever a short or a power surge from the car’s battery or alternator, this device could possibly be rendered unusable. That being said, I’m not sure how the internal circuitry works and if there is some sort of self-resetting protection inside.

Overall, this is a very good looking, versatile and well-built car charger that can accommodate up to 4 devices. I highly recommend it!

I ordered this smartphone charger for multiple devices from the Bangfun Store for an upcoming roadtrip this summer. With everyone needing their devices fully charged, this charger uses the car's built-in cigarette lighter to keep devices charged. This particular charger has four charging ports (two traditional USB ports and two USB-C ports), so it can charge a variety of devices using the different type cords that you might have.

This charger fit my cigarette lighter adapter in my Prius and had significant space for the cords to reach to the front and back seats without creating a corded mess that interferes with the car's driver or pedals. Based on my testing of the charger, it seems to work well with a variety of devices. It charged my iPhone 6, iPhone SE, and iPhone 15 really quickly. Though not tested on an Android device, I'm sure it will give those devices a rapid charge too. This will be great for family use during this summer's roadtrip and will help keep everyone's devices charged.

I'm not technical but I can appreciate plugging in a dead phone and having it charged to 50% power, in 20 minutes while driving. Possible that is how it's supposed to be, but my last charger (name brand) was painfully slow. This new charger shows the amps in a digital display. This means nothing to me except when I don't see the display illuminated, I know it's not fully plugged in - this is helpful. My SUV seems to like this new charger as its not sending occasional messages that the device is not recognized, like it did with my other one. I'm very happy with this charger.

Works perfect on my Moto G Power 5G. First adapter that caused my phone to ask if I wanted to use super fast charging mode...even the factory charger didn't do that...then displayed warning messages and asked for some permissions. The voltage meter is a nice plus. Glad they choose red lighting as it is very un-obtrusive. "Feels" well made and just looks real nice. It came with a very good quality USB-C cord. The coiled style cord is perfect for my phone mount location. It keeps the cord out of the way, yet is long enough if I need to hold the phone (while parked, of course!!) The adapter has plenty of extra power ports that I'll probably need now and then.

I Love this. This charges "super fast" when I input my phone and it has USB C and USB A ports, enough to charge 4 items at once. I like that it can plug into a cigarette lighter or a 12v car plug.

Works great! This is just as the fast as the charger block I use at home. You'll get a little less than 2 percent charge per minute! Having something like this is a game changer for when I need to charge my phone while driving. The only downside I would say is that it is a touch bulky but for what it does, it makes this minor complaint irrelevant. FYI it comes with a curly USB C cord. 5/5 would recommend!
