    I am transitioning to a new computer, and need to switch between the two of them a lot. I need to switch the keyboard, mouse, and one of my monitors back and forth, but with this gizmo I dont need to switch their sound outputs. I play high-quality music through it, and it has no effect on the sound, that I can perceive. For power, any type A USB socket will do; it comes with a USB cable for that purpose. It also comes with one 3.5 millimetre male-to-male, stereo cable, so you may need another one.

    I bought a new computer with integrated audio. I like to feed a line-in signal from a microphone preamp and sing along to tracks being played back on my computer. On this new computer, there was too much latency between what I was singing and what was heard on the computer's speakers. The usual solution is to buy an audio interface that has direct monitoring. I thought I'd try a simpler approach and use a Y-adapter to plug the line-in into both the computer and an input to a 2-channel stereo mixer. Then I could plug the line-out of the computer into the other mixer input and feed my speakers from the mixer out. All I needed is a basic mixer, hopefully USB powered for simplicity. The Cooidea looked like the perfect solution.

    The Cooidea 2-Channel Stereo Mixer arrived in a cardboard box along with instructions, a power cable and one aux audio cable. It appeared to be very solidly made and was very easy to install. I wired it according to my plan and turned off "Listen to this device" in my computer's settings for line-in. It worked perfectly, with zero latency. All I had to do is set the audio levels for line-in and media player for the correct vocal vs music balance.

    J'ai un vieil ensemble d'enceintes 5.1 auquel je tiens et qui a un trs bon son, mais trop ancien pour bnficier d'une connexion bluetooth, il n'y a que des entres audio, or j'ai deux sources connecter:
    - une enceinte cho (qui a bien des qualits, mais qui ne fait videmment pas le poids niveau son)
    - mon ordinateur
    Il fallait donc que rentre 2 sources jacks dans 1 entre. L facile, 4 trous, 1 pour l'alim ( brancher sur n'importe quelle prise USB-A 5V), 1 pour chaque source audio, 1 pour la sortie. Et zou.
    C'est basique (impossible de rgler le niveau sonore de chaque source) mais ?a fait le boulot, sans perte de qualit sonore, et c'est petit, vraiment tout petit (2 cm de c?t maxi, faut pas le perdre, ?a surprend quand on ouvre le paquet).
