    The set of 72 has a good selection of colours at a great price, but these are "academic" grade pastels. For what I want (something cheap I don't mind chewing through) it fits the bill.

    Cons: The sticks vary in hardness and some flake a fair amount because the paste is not mixed well enough before they are extruded and cut. They are also more semi-hard than soft.

    Pros: But for 30 cents a piece, that's easy enough to deal with. If you are just starting, these would be fine.

    I bought a box of pastels, however, when I unpacked it, i foud out that I had twice the same layer, thus, missing a whole layer of colours.
    I immediately contacted Ohuhu's Customer Service and they answered really quickly. I had to send them a picture of the 2 identical layers (which is understandable), and in the meantime, they were going to send me a new box. They told me I should receive in several days, but I got it the day after!!! Speak of a fast service, lol!!!
    Anyway, I started to use them and I am really happy with the quality.
    I also love Ohuhu because they have great quality for the price, and I find that they are always going the little extra mile to make their product swesome and unforgettable.
    I would definitely recommend anytime!!!!! :)

    This is a lovely set of pastels, with a good range of colours. I'm not sure, though, why the listing claims they are extra-long because they're actually just the standard size. Maybe there was a translation issue, and what the vendor meant to say was that they are full-length. Anyway, it's a minor detail.

    The pastels are very easy to use, lay down a decent amount of colour, and blend very well. They're probably not as pigmented, nor quite as soft, as the more expensive brands I've used in the past but for my mixed media pieces, they are more than adequate.

    The sheets of card were an added bonus, and happily, unlike some reviewers' experiences, my pastels all arrived intact, with zero breakages.
