I'm a guy with combination normal to oily skin - decently sensitive. I struggle with larger pores, acne scarring, and some redness. I was recommended this product by Dr.Dray on YouTube and I am absolutely in love with it. It glides onto the skin nicely. I've been using it for 4 days and I wasn't expecting to see results so soon. I use it at night with the CeraVe regular moisturizer and I wake up with nice soft, supple skin.

I've already seen improvements in the general texture and look of my skin. Its not where I want it to be, but I feel with consistent use I'll be pretty happy!

My skin doesn't react to the serum at all, I was really worried that introducing a retinoid to my routine would cause me irritation and purging but... nope, its been wonderful! Really lives up to the hype.

Just make sure your skin is DRY before you apply this, wet skin will cause the retinol to seep too deep into the skin and cause irritation, but you can circumvent this by applying after cleanser and patting your skin dry (gently), OR even applying over a moisturizer (which won't ruin the effectiveness of the product, don't worry).

Also make sure to wear sunscreen! This product will make your skin more photosensitive - sunscreen is vital!

As someone with sensitive skin and often buys Sephora products it’s very rare I fall in love with a drugstore product.

This is my retinol product and I LOVE IT. After 1-2 uses I can really feel it working. My skin is smother, softer and less red. I do not suffer much from breakouts but I do get whiteheads often, especially a bumpy forehead. This really helps to get rid of those.

If you have sensitive skin do not overuse this product. The first few weeks I was using it every other day and my skin overreacted and turned red and dry. I now use it 2x a week and it’s perfect.

When my skin is ready for a higher % retinol I’ll move away from this product but wow this is actually one of the best products I’ve ever used.

I have been using this for a few months with good results. It has high spredability so a little goes a long way (sometimes I wonder if I will ever finish the bottle!). In terms of skin benefits, the biggest change is that I have a lot fewer breakouts (almost none starting the second or third week of using it). I have sensitive skin but I tolerated this formula very well, with no irritation. But this is my personal experience! As many people pointed out, if I did not get burned, it doesn't mean that you won't either, or that it will cure your acne! This is a good starter Retinol product so I will likely upgrade to something stronger but I definetely recommend it.

For anyone interested, I prefer a minimalist skincare approach (i.e. less products but high quality), so I only use the Cerave serum at night and the Vichy Anti-acne facewash and lotion during the day + SPF

I'm so glad I took a chance & bought this! I'm soon to be 35 & while I thankfully don't have many wrinkles I am starting to get a few around my eyes & some little crinkles on my forehead. I also use garnier ultra lift day & night cream, but it doesn't seem to have any affect on my starting wrinkles so I did a little research, found a few options & decided to give this a try since I like cerave products. Wow! This really does make a noticeable difference in the appearance of my skin if I use it regularly! It's a bit expensive (though not as much as some others!) so I don't put it on my whole face but a patch of my forehead & around my eyes. Given how sparingly I use it I think it will last quite awhile. It also doesn't irritate my very sensitive skin at all. I'm definitely going to buy this again! Highly recommend - it's so worth it.

I highly recommend this product to anyone who suffers with acne and wrinkles. This was my first retinol cream and I was gonna give up using it because it broke me out for a few months. Which was normal because I learnt my skin was purging. Depending on how high the concentration of the retinol you have it might take months for the acne to go away which happened in my case. After using this retinol for a year I have to say it changed my face a lot. My wrinkles and acne scars have faded and the purging stoped as well and my pores have been minimized. I really enjoyed this product to the point where I also told my boyfriend who’s not into skin care to try it and it also gave him nice results. I highly recommend anyone who wants to start retinol this product.
