I purchased these sponges to make water bombs for my grandchildren to play with. It worked out perfectly and they just keep soaking them in the water and then throwing them at each other or my fence.. So far they have lasted and they love them.

    These are not the larger 6" cleaning sponges. The dimensions stated are for an entire package of 4. You get 10 packages for a total of 40 sponges. The sponges are placed side-by-side and doubled up in each package. They are each 3" wide, so they take up 6" of packaging. An individual sponge is +/- 4 1/2" long x 3" wide x 1/4-3/8" thick. Hope this helps other buyers.

    I have been buying Scotch-Brite 4-per-pack (2 or 3 packs at a time) for years and so obviously, I was very happy with them. But once again, 鶹 leaves its customers little choice but to buy in bulk quantities - which is why I ended up with an entire box of what SEEMED to be like my previous sponges. But they are not. The texture/size is a bit off, but the worst part about these sponges is that their color bleeds into adjoining sponges. So, a yellow sponge will have greenish streaks running thru it, etc etc. This may seem like nit-picking to some, but one way I know when to toss a sponge (aside from sometimes-obvious dirt) is when the sponge becomes discolored from use. Since many of these are discolored right out-of-the-box, I will NOT be buying these again and will go elsewhere to buy my favorite sponges!

    A sponge is a sponge. They all do the same job however I ordered this product to make a fun outdoor water craft with young kids and the colour selection is what made me purchase this item. I didn't need 40 sponges except to make this activity. The picture shows vibrant orange, pink, green and blue. The sponges are green, yellow and 2 shades of orange. So I am disappointed as far as the colour goes. The description states they are vibrant. Very disappointed!

    So, my husband hates sponges. BUT he doesn't do the ordering thankfully! Or the dishes!! ( although these are multi purpose) Second time I have gotten these, even though I find a bit pricey, you get a lot in the whole box; so it will last you awhile. I had tried those compressed sponges before...don't bother with those...they are just weird. This is a good brand name, well known, great product!!!
