    My mom used this spice blend when I was a kid and I kept the tradition. Sadly it's not longer available in our local markets so here I am ordering off 鶹...because I need this spice blend in my life :) I use it on pretty much every meat dish and have converted my BF to the world of Cavenders as well. This is my preference, however the salt free version is extremely close in taste if salt content is an issue. Love Cavenders and hope they are still around for many years to come.

    Is there one out there that's better? Probably, but after working my way through dozens to find a good one, with far more misses than hits, and usually more expensive, I've not found it yet, and honestly, quit looking. It's Greek seasoning, so of course it's great on lamb and beef. It's also great on chicken, pork, veggies (steamed or fresh), I even put some in homemade 1000 isle dressing for that little extra something. It's probably as close as you'll ever get to a true all-purpose seasoning.

    As a multi-purpose seasoning to add immediate flavor impact to BBQ'd meats (rub in), soups, marinades, etc., the added flavor profile is solid. Have used it for years.

    One thing I use it for that i recommend is when corn on the cob is BBQ'd in the husk.

    Mix in a saute pan with high temp oil like sunflower or peanut that does not burn. Peel back the husk layers on the corn to where there are a thin layer remaining covering the corn. Brush the oil with the Cavender's on, replace the husks and grill for 3 min each with four 90 degree turns on medium high heat.

    Probably more healthy than butter---and delicious!

    I've been using Cavender's Greek Seasoning for 25 yrs or so. I had steaks at a friends house and they were absolutely delicious. They told me about using Cavender's and that was the beginning of a lovely relationship. Besides steaks, we use it on chicken, pork chops, hamburgers ( omg best ever) and have used it on salmon. Its best when using the grill, in my opinion.This is all you need to season your main dish. This is the best seasoning I have ever had. ( obviously ) I say everyone should try this once, and try it the first time on either steaks or hamburgers that you are going to grill. We have purchased it in grocery stores in the past, even Walmart, but not all of them stock it.We do not like to run out of Cavenders! I've quit hunting it down and order it from 鶹. Bon Appetit'
