I am pleased with these foam mat pieces that I got to cushion a play area for the little ones. We have hardwood floors in much of the house and these foam mats provide a nice cushioning for one of the play areas that the little ones use to play, sit & read, roll around, whatever they happen to be doing at any given time.

These work very well for their intended purpose and I like the way they fit together so that I was able to organize them in an odd shape that fits around and in front of a toy box, etc. I wasn't limited to a strict square or strict rectangle shape, and I love the versatility of that. I was also able to easily cut a couple of them to get the fit that I wanted around the toy box and snip off the 'puzzle piece' edges where I wanted a straight edge, etc. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. :-)

And the pattern is a nice touch, too, as you can put them together in whatever manner you like to create a symmetrical pattern or a random pattern, whatever you feel like, but it adds a nice little decor touch with the contrasting colours and geometric shape squiggles.

I'm happy with these, for sure.

I got this as a playmate for my grandson when he visits - he is 7 months old so just starting to really play and wriggle around. The mat is pleasantly soft. It's light and easy to lock the tiles together. It is easy to pack up at the end of the day as well, and the surface makes it super simple to wipe down for those kiddie accidents and spills. All in all I'm very happy and would recommend to anybody with a little one who is just graduating to floor time. Especially if you wave hard wood or vinyl flooring as this will protect those precious heads from the inevitable bumps, falls and slips.
