    This is not a review of the actual show, I consider it an absolute masterpiece & wanted to rewatch it before the new Castlevania show comes out in September 2023, so I figured I would get it in its best form, the Blu Ray disc.

    Special features are limited overall, art gallery and storyboards mostly, but that's fine since I got this mostly so I could watch it in better quality than the streaming version & I still enjoy collecting discs for some of my favorite shows, and on that front I am very satisfied.

    The image is very clean, no discernable noise and I can see the awesome animation and art style in its best form. Sound quality is excellent (5.1 or stereo). For what I wanted, I am quite satisfied with the purchase. I will be getting the other seasons for sure.

    Dracula’s Curse was the perfect place to start. Trevor works better than Leon, Richter, or even Simon. While many liberties were taken, this can be see. As a reimagining or “take” on the canon story.

    Seasons 1 & 2 respects the franchise, at least better than Seasons 3 & 4, or the spin-off seasons of Nocturne. This animated series (not an anime) features a capable voice cast that performs well. The animation is also very well done. Owning this set is all you really need from the series, as the rest is quite the disappointment.
