This pairing is perfect for short course trucks running on 2s LiPo and weighing up to 6.5 lbs; it can be run on a 3s LiPo with very conservative gearing. It is a cooling running torque animal for lighter 1/10th scale 2WD stadium trucks and buggies running up to a 3s LiPo. Our 4-pole 12-slot motor designs boast exceptional efficiency, and the oversized NMB bearings and vibration dampening system ensure the longest bearing life possible. High-strength, high-temperature grade neodymium sintered magnets combined with a high-strength Kevlar wrap ensures the integrity of the rotor is not compromised during harsh running conditions. CRYO-DRIVE TECHNOLOGY

CRYO-DRIVE TECHNOLOGY minimizes the amount of time the ESC's electrical components spend generating heat by optimally controlling which components are being used while driving the motor, which greatly reduces the rate at which the Sidewinder 4 heats up. CRYO-DRIVE takes thermal performance to a whole new level and allows users to push beyond the limits of previous generation Sidewinders by handling higher gear ratios in heavier vehicles with longer runs.

Sidewinder 4 MT Edition ESC and Motor

The 1415-2400kv is ideal for short course trucks running on 3s LiPo and weighing up to 6.5 lbs; it can be run on a 2s LiPo but will be very slow. It is a cooling running torque animal for lighter 1/10th scale 2WD stadium trucks and buggies running on a 3s LiPo.

Basher Edition Sidewinder 4 Sport Series ESC and Motor

The 1406-4600kv and 1406-5700kv motors are perfect for 2WD SCT on 2s LiPo and geared conservatively. They make a great combo for 1/10th scale 2WD Stadium trucks and buggies on 2s for general bashing and limited runs on 3s; temps will climb quickly on 3s.

Sidewinder 4 On Road Edition ESC and Motor

The 1406-6900kv and 1406-7700kv motors are great upgrades for 1/10th scale on-road cars for 2s use. They can also be used in some lighter off-road 1/10th stadium trucks and buggies with conservative gearing.

PRODUCT USAGE TIPS

  • Although Sidewinder 4 is waterproof, it is not intended for operation while completely submerged in liquid. They can corrode when exposed to corrosive materials, such as salt water. Always rinse the ESC with clean water after exposure to corrosives or dirt. While the controller may be waterproof, we suggest users confirm that the rest of their vehicle, including the batteries, servos, radio and chassis are also waterproof before
  • Not all LiPos are created equal, and surge ratings should never be used to determine a pack’s suitability for a brushless application. Use the CONTINUOUS C rating only. Brushless setups frequently hit 100+ amps in peaks. We strongly suggest using 5,000 mAh or larger LiPo cells with a discharge rating of at least 30C (or high quality 25C batteries such as Traxxas Power Cells). Our experience suggests using only mild gear ratios with NiMH cells. Do not attempt to use NiMH cells in extreme setups.exposing them to liquids of any kind.
