The new W735H series offer many outstanding functions. At the touch of a button, the display can be brightly illuminated in a fashionable color. A second location time can be set and called up. Ideal if you frequently make overseas calls. Elapsed time, split time and final time are measured with 1/100-sec accuracy. The watch can measure times of up to 24 hours. For fans of precision: the countdown timers help you to remember specific or recurring events by giving off an audible signal at a preset time. They The time can be set to the nearest second and up to 24 hours in advance - Ideal for people who need to take medicines every day or those who do interval training. The daily alarm reminds you of events that recur every day, by emitting an audible signal at the set time. The vibration alarm discreetly reminds you of important appointments, without emitting a loud signal. The button tones for using the mode button can be turned off. This means that the watch no longer beeps when switching from one function to another. Preset alarm or countdown timers remain active when the button tones are deactivated. Once set, the automatic calendar always displays the correct date. Times can be displayed in either a 12-hour or 24-hour format. The surface of the watch glass is domed. This offers a high level of stability and resistance against pressure. Natural resin is the ideal material for wrist straps thanks to its extremely durable and flexible properties. 10 years, 1 battery. I bought this W735H watch for mainly the count down timer and vibe alarm, it does not disappoint. The main time screen with two line display is also really clean and easy to read in low light, and the ADJUST button makes each function easy to use, plus the strap is comfortable in general. It does kinda appear like G-Shock but remains bit more understated in all black with white/silver labels. I use the CT and Stop Watch through the day, timing tasks and cooking The vibration alarm is very quiet, lasts/buzzes for 10 seconds and does not wake my wife beside me, but it while is not very strong to wake me from deep sleep, it will work discreetly all other times, like the hour signal. And if used with countdown timer [CT], you can treat it as 2 alarms, CT serving as time limit or pre-alarm, ie sleep 4.5 hours 3 cycles, then set the daily alarm to time near the 4.5h from say :00, :15, :30, :45 min mark.. Highly recommend this model and the few others like it if you value the stealth vibration alarm and countdown mode. Update: 8 months later, holds up well to repeated exposure to isopropyl alcohol (Covid) and bleach water in laundry. Strap is fine so far as well. The mineral glass will scratch but baking soda paste can buff it well enough. Below $40 on sale, this watch is great.

    Great watch if you're looking for a cheap watch to perform specific features. I use it occasionally in my daily life when playing sports or everyday activities, but usually wear something more fashionable otherwise. However it has one other major purpose for me, travel.

    While travelling I leave it on the dual time mode so I know what time it is at home, and I've found the easy to find and quick LIGHT button very handy. I like the vibration alarm, and bet it would be great for people who stay in hostel dorms and are easily woken by movement.

    It's survived extended swimming in multiple oceans, pools, and other bodies of water around the world, and even some large cliff dives. No condensation or other issues so far after two years. However I do see other reviews that haven't been as lucky. Looks good as new minus a barely noticeable scratch on the face.

    Cons I can think of are that some people might find the strap and awkward bulk of the watch uncomfortable, but that's hard to gauge for everyone as I barely notice it.

    Really satisfied with this sporty, lightweight Casio watch. Features including regular and vibration alarms, hourly chime and stopwatch are quick to learn and easy to use. Check out some of the shorter Youtube videos as learning aids (search by model number), as they're quite helpful. Vibration alarm can be set for hourly and/or one specific set time per 24 hour period. Vibration feature makes it very easy to detect in loud surroundings where it would be otherwise impossible to hear the chime alarm. Overall a great value.

    My previous one (not exactly the same model) lasted for 30 years -in fact, the watch still operates normally, except the chassis is in really bad shape and the band was replaced countless times- so the bar is set really high for this daily beater of amazing watch.

    First impression with this new one is that the materials used have somewhat a cheaper feel, especially the band (a more plastic feel than the material used in past generations). Other than that, it a the exact same watch with minor cosmetic variations. Probably Casio decided the old adage applies, and if it's not broke, don't fix it.

    Same watch, same functionality, same accuracy, same general quality (again, so far...not expecting 30 years out of this one, but who knows). If you ever used a Casio watch, you will find yourself at home with this one. No complaints so far (3 months of daily beating / usage so and still like day one, which again, it's what's expected).

    In short, if you have / are a teenager (maybe it's too big for a kid under 12 or 13, but ok for a teen or any adult size) or you're an adult (male or female, this is not fashion piece under any means, but a utilitarian time telling machine) and need a watch with the functions a watch must have without any fancy, this is the perfect watch (with the plus of a ridiculously low price tag...)

    If you need a swimming watch (not a diver one, that's not it), you work in construction, military, first responders, etc and need a sturdy piece of hardware, without needing insane protection specs (that unless you're a navy diver or any other really specific type of job, and if you do, your watch is part of your job toolkit anyways) this is a perfect watch that will do the job and you can still use it to jog around the neighborhood in case you have the free time (all you need to know is for how long you've been running or how much left you have to get in the 80% of the test, all the rest, is for another type of users).

    Oh, the vibration alarm is a plus that wasn't there before...if you're to wake up for your 4am shift, you don't need to wake-up anyone else. If you're a student and need to be reminded 10 minutes the end of the test and not disturb the rest of the class, again, that's what you need, or if you are lap swimming and need to be reminded at x time, the vibration is perfect for it.

    Recommended. So far 4 stars, because of the plasticky feel of the band. I don't think 鶹 -or me- will be (not as we know it today) around in 30 years. But if it last 30 years, and either of us is still around, I will be back to change my review and give it 5 stars.

    I bought this watch in January of 2017 to have as my "outdoor" watch. It quickly became the go-to for all outdoor activities like portaging, swimming, rock climbing, and pretty much anything that needed a durable watch: used in doing full house renos (many blunt impacts against it, not even a scratch), truck work on the trails, etc. You get the idea, this thing put up with a lot of abuse and has always been dependable.
    During this whole time never had any issue with the battery, the clock has been accurate to the second since the first day, calendar has been bang on, the light always works, and the additional features like 2nd timezone, stopwatch, countdown timer, and alarm have all been great.
    The buttons are easy to operate and make sense, the screen is easy to read in any light (including with sunglasses).
    This month (Aug 2020) a part of the wrist band snapped. The watch itself still is just fine.
    Honestly for the price this is such an awesome piece of equipment!

    Casio is definately a company to be depended on. Have had Casios for over three decades. The last longer than the fassions change so no worries.
    This watch tells the time, easy to to adjust, has a really nice feature I have not met before on a wrist watch which is a silent alarm that just vibrates for about ten seconds on your wrist - comes in useful for waking up without bothering or waking up my wife, or for alarms during meetings.
    The light is bright (be aware it is white light (in case you are using this in a military setting).
    The size is nice. Large enough for a grown man's wrist with good size numbers (for those of us over 50 where reading starts becoming an issue).
    The wrist band sits nicely, and even when sweating during excercise or hiking - does not feel sticky or uncomfortable. It only comes in black without other color options.
    While not a G-shock - it seems pretty rugged and has been banged around quite a bit. The look is very similar to that of G-shock. More sporty than elegant.
    I don't like smart/sports watches because of the need to charge them- This one cans stay on the wrist for ten years without a problem.

    Bought this watch for the vibration alarm and that works great! I've used it now for about 10 months and the vibration alarm has only failed to wake me up around 3 times and these were occassions where I was particularily exhausted and I was asking a lot of it trying to wake me up after very little sleep. Definitely worth having a back up just in case in the instances.
    Other than that, the watch looks cool. The timer and stop watch work great too. And you get an alternate time zone as well - this is a lot of watch for the money.
    I love my watches and I have a few nice ones but I barely ever take this one off because it's just an excellent all rounder.
