I absolutely love economy watches. Over the past while, I have purchased many watches under 100 on amazon, and I must say this is one of my favourites! I am wearing this watch as I write this review :)
In terms of quality, you can find no better watch at this price point. I was really impressed that for under 30 you get a very precise Japanese quartz movement which is usually unheard of. If you are paying under 50, usually you are getting a Chinese, Malaysian, or Filipino movement. Nothing against them, but when it comes to quartz, I would rather have a Japanese movement. This watch however is cased in China. The watch is worn daily, and definitely has held up. I wear it around the house, at the gym and when I am dressed in very casual clothing. Heck, I also sleep with it on my wrist for how comfortable it is on my wrist. It is made of Resin which makes it very light and comfortable.
I was also very surprised that this watch ticks rather quietly. I own a Timex weekender (which costs about 15-20 dollars more) and that watch ticks very loudly. For this Casio watch, you really need to put your ear to the watch to hear it (hence why I can sleep with it on my wrist with no issues).
Water resistance on this watch is very good! It is rated at 100m/10ATM. I have not tested its water resistance at that depth as I am not a diver, but I can say that it has held up quite nicely in various contexts where it has been exposed to water (i.e. hand washing, showering, and swimming).
I have read many reviews written on this watch on amazon, and I was disappointed when I read people saying this watch looks cheap. Please keep in mind when purchasing this watch, that it is not meant to be a luxury watch, or a watch for a professional to wear to work with business-casual, or formal attire. I am required to wear business casual attire to my job, so I do not wear it to work. This watch is a less expensive alternative to the G-shock and is great for you (in my opinion) if you work in one of the following professions:
-Police officer, Firefighter, Paramedic
-Personal trainer
-Nurse/Doctor/ anyone wearing scrubs at the hospital (no problem if bodily fluids get on this, you can easily disinfect this watch)
-Any other job that is active or requires active wear.
I did drop this watch once from waist level on to a tile floor and it is still working great. However, this watch is not meant to take the same punishment as a G-shock. If you feel you will need more shock protection than this watch can provide, by all means spend the extra money on the g-shock.
Overall, I highly recommend this piece. You cannot go wrong at this price and caliber of quality. Enjoy!

Great durable watch for outdoor activity
I bought this watch for my trip to the Caribbean. I wanted something I could take into the ocean and pool with me - something inexpensive that won't be a huge deal if it got water damaged or lost. After looking at many different watches, I chose this one because of the price, design and waterproof rating. At 100 ATM for such a cheap watch, I figured I couldn't go wrong with this. After receiving it and first glance, it didn't look quite as good as the pictures on amazon, but it did grow on me throughout my vacation. It felt a little plastic-y but still pretty nice and durable. It was very easy to set the time and date. I used it for a week straight while on vacation and it did a fantastic job. It kept excellent time and didn't get any kind of fog or moisture in it while I was in the pool and ocean. After wearing it for a while and breaking it in, it conformed to my wrist nicely. Overall this is a great watch and I will be using it for all outdoor activities like camping, hiking, swimming, etc. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a durable and affordable watch.
