    Ich finde das Design der Uhr sehr klassisch und ansprechend. Sie bietet viele Informationen und kann auch andere Zeitzonen auf Knopfdruck anzeigen. Die Beleuchtung in orange ist okay aber etwas schwach, außerdem hätte mir ein klassisches grünes Licht besser gefallen. Dennoch ist die Bedienung leicht erlernbar und alles in allem wirkt das Produkt absolut wertig. Auch das Armband lässt sich mit etwas handwerklichem Verständnis und Geschick leicht anpassen, sodass es nahezu an jedes Handgelenk passt. Mein Vater bestellte sich dieselbe Uhr mit einem Gummi(?)-Armband, diese Uhr war deutlich weniger wertig, wenn auch etwas günstiger als die, die ich hier bewerte, falls also jemand noch überlegt, welche er sich kaufen möchte. (Bei der Uhr meines Vaters ist die Beschriftung deutlich schlechter lesbar und wirkt matt, wogegen bei meinem Exemplar die Beschriftung deutlich hervorsticht)
    Einziger (kleiner) Kritikpunkt: Es passiert schnell, dass man an einen der Bedienknöpfe kommt, einfach durch Handbewegungen, und dann wird nicht mehr die eigene Zeitzone angezeigt, sondern eine der vier anderen. Dies wird aber sowohl an der Miniatur-Weltkarte angezeigt, als auch als Stadtkürzel für die Zeitzone (also bspw. BER für Berliner Zeitzone, LON für London oder NY für New York) Was mich etwas wundert sind auch die auswählbaren Zeitzonen, da sie alle, bis auf NY, sehr nah beieinander liegen (Berlin, Paris und London). Wahrscheinlich für Geschäftsleute die in diesen Ländern verkehren sehr nützlich (wobei auch nicht schwer zu ermitteln) aber für mich wären zB. Australien, Mittlerer Osten und eine weitere amerikanische Zeitzone interessanter gewesen. (Vielleicht einstellbar, so tief habe ich mich nicht ins Benutzerhandbuch gewagt)

    Leider sieht man auch hier auf der Rückseite 'Made In China', was bei dem Preis wohl niemanden wundert. Trotzdem schade, denn eigentlich habe ich die Uhr gerade deshalb gekauft, weil ich keine Chinaware haben wollte.

    Trotzdem muss ich neutral hervorheben, dass die Uhr mich wirklich überzeugt und für den Preis wirklich wertig ist und meine Erwartungen sogar leicht übertroffen hat.

    Ho avuto molti Casio in vita mia, sono gli orologi con cui sono cresciuto negli anni 80/90 insieme agli Swatch. Ne ho avuti un po' e devo dire che sono stati i più duraturi. Li porto soprattutto per andare a lavoro e li posso definire affidabili e resistenti. Fino a pochi giorni fa usavo il più famoso A158W perché era veramente leggero ma nonostante lo abbia portato per 3 anni devo ammettere che per il mio polso é veramente troppo piccolo. Ho quindi cercato un alternativa sotto i 50 euro che avesse una cassa un po' particolare non la solita tonda e non volevo troppe funzioni. Ho trovato questo l'AE1200, versione con cinturino in acciaio che io preferisco (esiste anche nero in resina). Questo modello é conosciuto anche come World Time o Royale perché si dice sia stato indossato dal protagonista del film 007 Casino Royale e questa cosa mi intrigava, anche se credo che proprio per questo il prezzo sia un pochino più alto rispetto ad altri Casio. L'ho pagato 38€. La cassa é di dimensioni medie, rispetto al A158W direi che é grande il doppio. Il cinturino é in acciaio come la fibbia con sistema a pulsanti contrapposti un po' più seria rispetto a quella del A158W, molto leggero, non strappa i peli dal polso, unico neo che essendo un cinturino più serio per regolarlo bisogna togliere le maglie e non basta spostare la fibbia come nel A158W, per chi ha manualità non ci sono problemi a farlo ma per gli altri consiglio di farlo fare a un orologiaio. Le funzioni sono quelle della scheda tecnica, fusi orari, cronografo, allarmi e illuminazione arancione, che rispetto all'A158W é data da 2 led nella parte bassa dello schermo al posto del singolo laterale.
    Ho letto tra le recensioni che alcuni hanno dubbi sull'autenticità perché premendo il tasto destro non esce la scritta Casio, ma probabilmente non sanno che la quella scritta non é presente su tutti i modelli ma solo su alcuni tipi per l'appunto l'A158W e poi quella scritta non prova nulla perché chi clona questi orologi se vuole é in grado di inserirla nell'elettronica. Comunque per curiosità l'ho fatto vedere a un mio amico che li vende e mi ha detto che é originale ed é identico a quelli in vendita da lui. É compreso di scatola in cartone e manuale con italiano anche se chi ha già avuto Casio se ne fara poco. Tornando alla cassa preciso che é in plastica, anche qui molti si lamentano che non é in accaio ma oramai Casio almeno sulla Casio Collection, cioé la gamma di orologi Vintage, usa sempra casse in plastica e credo lo faccia oramai da 20 anni, questo perché la cassa in plastica e con essa il vetrino rendono l'orologio molto più leggero. Bello, leggero e originale a 5 € meno sarebbe stato perfetto.

    inspirée d'une montre de James Bond (une Seiko en réalité) cette montre est aujourd'hui qualifiée de vintage ! Quoi qu'il en soit, pour les amateurs du genre comme moi, c'est une montre superbe, avec une finition incroyable compte tenu de son faible prix et du nombre de fonctions qu'elle offre. Et la réputation de Casio n'est plus à faire en terme de fiabilité.
    Tout est parfait dans cette montre : l'autonomie (10 ans sur une pile), la lisibilité (de l'heure au moins), le bracelet et son système d'ouverture/fermeture, ses boutons solides, son look, sa finition, ses fonctions, son bip horaire, etc. Et en plus, elle n'est pas connectée et n'a pas besoin d'un smartphone pour une mise à jour...vive le vintage!
    Alors bien sûr, avec un verre saphir ça serait mieux que du plastique, un boitier en métal aussi, made in japan plutôt que made in china, mais vu son prix, on ne peut pas tout avoir...Et puis il y a plein d'autres Casio à collectionner qui ont tout ça et plus encore....
