Achetée en vente à 69. Je collectionne les montres haut de gamme Seiko, Orient et j’ai une faiblesse pour quelques autres plus simples pour travailler dehors ou autre Celle-ci est excellente. Hautement lisible, solaire, bonne a vie. J’ai enlevé ma Seiko Tuna et après un peu de lecture, îmise au poignet. Poid plume,je la sens à peine. L’heure est lisible les yeux fermés lol. Solide!

    I bought this watch as an every-day watch. As I am used to metal strap watches, my first concern was the resin strap, but I am happy to report that it is comfortable and quite nice in general. The watch also feels amazingly light compared to my other metal watches.

    I think the watch looks good; I especially like the depth of its face and the way the hour marks are raised above the face. The hands are contrasting on the black background and easy to read even in dim light. The only gripe I have with the design is the size of the LCD screen, and the pointless seconds counting bars on its right side. Also, the LCD can display letters only in its left half, which makes the displaying of the date or other information slightly odd, as the way digits are displayed in the left half of the LCD is different than the digits on the right side of the LCD.
    I can forgive that in light of all the features you get for the price. The feature I find most useful is the countdown timer, which I use a lot. Also, another very cool feature for those of you who travel are the time zones. It takes reading the instructions to understand how they work, but switching from one time zone to another is quite easy. Best of all, the hands are motorized and keep in sync with the digital watch. This alone is a feature to buy the watch for, as it makes adjusting the watch absolutely effortless and it also looks cool when you switch from one time zone to another with the watch hands starting to spin around until they sync with the new time zone. Daylight Saving Time... no problem: hold adjust, press mode once, press search, press adjust and the hands jump into action to go one hour ahead all while the time is continuously being kept track of. It should be noted the the hands move faster forward than they do backwards.

    I do not remember when I last set the watch, but it has been at least 3 months, and it has gained 20 seconds since, which is awesome.

    The watch has a mineral crystal, but it is still crystal clear with me and without scratches. I have not hit or dropped or scraped the watch though.

    Oh, and the watch is solar. The only time the battery reached medium level was on the first day when I got the watch and played with its motorized hands and illumination a lot. Otherwise, in normal use, even at winter (which is 4 months here) the battery stayed on high level. I do not keep the watch near a window, but it is not in a box or a drawer either. It is simply standing on my desk when I do not wear it. That being said, I only use the watch as a watch and a timer, without using the illuminated screen or spinning the hands motors about for no reason.

    Quality-wise, the watch is flawless. I have not noticed any defects at all. I am impressed by what Casio has done for the price.

    1.5 year update: I still wear this watch every day and it still looks and performs as new.

    This is an outstanding watch for a very good price!!! It's a larger watch, which I really like, very easy to read and program...there are even videos on YouTube that show how to do this. It has a choice of 5 alarms, functioning backlight, lights up well at night, very lightweight and just looks really sharp and minimalist. You can't go wrong with this watch...it's also solar powered so you'll never need to change the battery and it's the only watch you'll probably ever need. It also keeps very accurate time, HOMERUN!!!

    Excellent watch that's well worth the price. I've had several Casio watches before, but this is my first "rugged" G-Shock style watch. I wear it as my everyday casual watch. It's a little bit chunky, but not to the point that I bang it into doorways or tables, etc. It's SUPER light, so I barely notice it on my wrist. The functions are awesome (I honestly don't even use most of them, but I'm glad I have the option) and the watch keeps time really well. It's a rugged design, but I think it's rather sleek too. I wish the face of the watch was made of a higher quality glass, but mine hasn't been scratched yet so I can't complain. For $47 CAD, this is a no brainer. Buy one!

    No . . . BUT VERY GOOD FOR THE MONEY!!!!

    PROS:
    Great watch for the money so far.
    I wanted a basic analog watch with added digital features and solar-powered.
    This fits the bill perfectly for me at least.
    1. Very easy to read at a glance.
    2. Analog time syncs with digital readout.
    3. A relatively large face but not too large for me.
    4. Actual mineral/glass crystal.
    5. Very light weight on the wrist which is ok.
    6. Strap is rubber/ plastic with a nice curve to fit the wrist well.
    7. EASY SETUP if people take the time to follow the instructions and familiarize themselves
    with all functionality of the watch. I don't use all the functions. Just use the functions you need
    and forget about the rest.
    8. Perpetual Calendar based on the correct location, time zone, day, date and YEAR!
    You never have to adjust watch for short or long months.
    9. Solar-powered with a 10-month power reserve so it says. AMAZING.
    10. Never have to buy a battery.
    11. Affordable . . not the end of the world if it gets lost, stolen or damaged.
    12. Deadly accurate time keeping. I set this one to the online World clock and then
    set my other 26 watches to this one.
    13. It is a Casio with decent reputation. I have a Casio Edifice Quartz that is my daily watch
    for 6 years now and it runs flawlessly. I just put in a new battery once a year. $10.00.
    14. Case seems fairly tough and rises above the crystal for added protect when bumping into things.

    CONS: (Really minor)
    1. Lume is not great and does not last long enough.
    Not really a big deal for me.
    Just a comment.
    2. Back Light only illuminates the tiny digital lower panel . . . not the whole watch face.
    Would be really nice if all manufacturers could come up with a nice
    full face backlight like Casio's own EL system on their digital only faces
    or the Timex Indiglo idea.
    3. Just nit picking here and personal preference.
    I would prefer a solid minute hand instead of the skeletonized one.
    Not a big deal.
    4. Would be nice if it had Atomic Timing but that would increase price
    and I understand that.

    Love it so far.

    Great looking watch, which is a useful addition to my increasing collection. I like the dark, rugged look and it feels like a premium watch. I've avoided the dual analog/digital watches due to the faff involved with manually setting the hands to match the digital time but this overcomes that by doing it for you. Such a good feature. I paid 30 for this watch, which is truly astonishing value for a solar powered watch. I'd add that it seems to need very little light(even artifical) to maintain a HI charge. Genius.
