Surprisingly easy to assemble.
The toughest part of attaching it to the toilet was to remove the two screws which hold the toilet seat. The width is adjustable so it fits in a small bathroom. I strongly recommend using and keeping the assembly instructions.

It help her to stay autonomous, and to keep her pride and intimacy intact....the gard has 2 position, depending the size of the person : small or larger. But it is not a setting one can change on demand. The fact that it has no legs on the ground makes it easier to clean around the toilet. It is really stable. Easy to install.

    I bought this toilet support to take to respite care after knee replacement surgery. Despite two attempts to tighten the attachments, this device was wobbly and the arm supports would slip out from under the toilet seat which was supposed to hold them down. Four times in two weeks an arm support slipped out when I was trying to sit or stand, causing me to fall rapidly back onto the toilet seat. The pain in my operated knee was horrible. I didn’t even bother to bring it home from respite care. It went straight into the garbage!!
