    This raised seat was easy to install, and the older person it was installed for was very happy with how much easier it made getting on and off the toilet, probably because the existing toilet was quite low. The wing handles are well positioned and allow the users arms and hands to both lift (or lower) and steady the user. It seems sturdy enough to support even fairly heavy persons. The raised ring essentially sits between the toilet bowl and the toilet seat. You can still flip the seat up, but the raised ring does not flip up, which means that in order to clean between the bottom of the ring and the top of the toilet bowl, you have to (temporarily) uninstall it. If the user needs the raised seat, they are probably not going to be able to take it apart for thorough cleaning, and most house cleaners will not do so either out of liability concerns, so this may be a bit of an issue.

    I had a knee operation and that device help me very much. It was easy to install, and very stable. It had only one problem, after a few weeks I didn't need it anymore. If you need one you could rent it from the pharmacist, unfortunately if you need it more than 2 weeks it might be more costly. A decision you have to make: Buy this good one, or rent a used one already used by someone else.

    The product itself is fine, it’s the concept that is so-so
    That is that it is a fixed amount of height, so unless you need a forever lift over the toilet bowl it is a all or nothing add on
    I ultimately went for a 4 legged seat, witch is both height adjustable so you can gradually go back to a regular height over time, and also simpler to just move on/off when different people use the facility
    Granted I have a house with a large WC so I can move around the frame easily
