Easy Assembly.
In just a short period of time, our grandmother has really become quite a pro in using this walking aide. To watch her quickly fold the device mid-stride in order to squeeze between a group of people in a crowd is really a sight to be seen -- and it only speaks to the clever & lightweight design the walker itself. While it may look like a lot pieces in the box, it will actually take you very little time at all to assemble it for your loved one. Most of the assembly is simply twisting/snapping and locking pieces into place, and then adjusting to required height needed. I will say that this device seems better suited for solid surfaces than softer terrains, however. Hardwood flooring and sidewalks shouldn't pose any mobility problems at all, but if your home is fully carpeted, the user may notice a bit of stubbornness with the walker when moving a long distance. It's not impossible to navigate mind you, just noticeably less smooth than when on a solid floor. So in this way, the option for a sleigh attachment on the back legs might be a useful addition for a future model. Despite being fairly lightweight (almost to a fault), I didn't find that it impacted the actual sturdiness of the unit all that much. Again, this could just be that the walker was primarily being used on sidewalks & hardwood, so you may find it to be a little less sturdy on grassy areas outdoors. Overall, though, I believe the asking price to be pretty fair here relative to the materials involved, and the sleek black/charcoal finish makes it less of an eyesore in the home, as well as more inconspicuous to use while in public places. Recommended (with the exceptions noted).
