    The Careboda Shower Chair arrived very quickly. It was well packaged. Works very well and I appreciate the blue covering over the chair. You line up the drain holes in the blue covering with the holes in the chair for drainage. Very easy to do. Sticks to the chair but if you don’t like it will come off easily.

    Price point is good. Check the measurements of your tub and chair if it goes in a tub setting. It is slightly wider than the Medline chair I had on loan from the Red Cross. Would definitely recommend it.

    I got this for my senior (70) mother. The one she has is old and rusted and will not adjust.

    Anyway, this one comes with a side armrest, which is very good for seniors and those who need to get up from their seats. In the one we got, one arm fits great, the other one is loose a bit but still holds. Remember that the armrest will significantly increase the width, so a smaller bath tube can get tight to the wall and operational for one handarm may be a problem.
    The Soft Cushion is a nice move but a bit thin. I wonder if it will last with the water flow and sitting body contact.

    Update:
    So today we took this baby for a speed drive in a shower. So far so good.

    As mentioned before, the armrest sticks out and might be a problem at one end closer to the wall if u have a small bath. But each arm can be removed and blockers provided to prevent any water from going inside the unit. So it really comes to the bathtub one has. I do like that the legs stick out much less than our old chair did making it a much better fit for our bathtub. So overall, it's a pretty good and comfortable chair and the armrests are good and decent.

    However, if you getting this for a senior, pregnant or someone else in need of extra help, I would recommend installing the shower bars too. They are not expensive or hard to install but 1-2 bars on the wall with this chair will make the shower experience much easier for those in need.

    Also, this unit comes with a small part that allows you to hang your showerhead to the chair legs for easy access while taking a bath. Interesting add-on but I found it more practical to use the same part but connect it to the bar mentioned above. So the shower head is in front rather than under you.

    As someone who just had foot surgery and is only able to stand on one leg, this was amazing for the shower!! I would recommend though to make sure that you measure how wide your tub is to see if this is able to go width wise or lengthwise in your shower. As I did not, and I had to go sideways, but overall very easy to put together adjustable and great qualities, especially for anyone that needs to sit down in the shower.
