This kit isn’t made for a Kohler courage engine, as advertised. Everything included in the kit, except the carburetor and one of the 2 gaskets is different. After installing the new carburetor, my mower ran worse than before, stalling out after startup. I ended up using only the smaller gasket, and bought another carburetor from a different source. My mower instantly started after swapping the carbs again. I’ve included a picture of the proper air cleaner(left), and the one that comes in the kit(right), as reference. Since the fuel filter, fuel lines, clamps, air filter, and one gasket are wrong, and the carburetor is a dud, I don’t recommend buying this kit at all.

    Need to swap a few clips from the old carb to the new one, but its only a few screws. So far, works great to refresh an old push mower..and definitely cheaper than buying a new mower. Old carb was so gunked up from the "gasahol" they sell, wasn't worth the time trying to clean and adjust, swapping it out was easier.

    Installed it. connected fuel. it wont even start. i unscrewed the bowl drain and wow its bone dry. so the float is stuck somehow. i know carbs. i removed the bowl and no matter what adjustment you make on the float tab needle you cant get it to run constantly once the bowl is installed. I think the whole design has got some flaw and the bowl is too shallow and never lets enough fuel in. maybe it works. Chucked it in the trash. Suggest you try to buy one from a different vendor or maybe even OEM.
