It also sends continuously updated GPS location data from your phone, letting you geotag what you've captured so you know precisely where you captured the photo.

Built-in Wi-Fi Capability

Enable wireless functions, such as remote live view, file viewing and transfer, by connecting to Wi-Fi quickly and seamlessly. Using the Canon Camera Connect app, you can also transfer files to your compatible mobile device to browse and share on social media.

image.canon Service

Connecting the EOS R100 to the image.canon service will allow you to seamlessly upload all images and movies in their original format and quality, and access them from the dedicated app or through a web browser and automatically forward them to a computer, compatible mobile device, and third-party services.

* Contrast-based AF is used during 4K video recording.

(1) For EOS R series cameras currently in release as of May 23, 2023. Size is based on CIPA standards.

(2) Maximum AF area may be smaller depending on the lens used.

(3) The effects that can be set for Creative Filter differ for shooting and playback.

(4) AF cannot be adjusted when filming 120 fps/100 fps high frame rate movie, and sound is not recorded at 100/120 fps. Playback is at 1/4 slow speed (30 fps/25 fps). Maximum length for a single movie is limited to 7 min. 29 sec.
