    This is a classic fun movie meant for people who wanted to go out to be entertained. It is very similar to the great Gumball Rally which was just a cover name for the Cannonball. Cannonball Run seemed to be a lot more fun because America had been handed down the Dreaded Double Nichol, the 55 Mph speed limit on all interstates. No one liked it and this movie is meant to reflect how much.
    But most importantly this one is fun and meant to leave you feeling like you had a good time and got away with something in the process. If you get the right copy, you can enjoy all of their crazy antics through all the bloopers in the extras. Keep in mind, they shot this on 35mm Kodak Stock on Panavision Cams. You know you're a super star when they let you waste film like that because the out takes are as good as the final product.
