Initially I was hoping the cane tip wasn't too bulky or heavy. But I got used to it right away. I feel more secure with its sturdiness when walking. Nice to be able to stand the cane up within reach, instead of propping somewhere. (just need a level surface). Also if it does fall over, I can lever it up with my foot on the tip, then grab it as it swings up) all without needing to reach it on floor. Edit: Jan 2024. Have had to replace tip a couple of times. They wear down on the prongs(or whatever they're called). Once I have problems with cane standing on its own, I know the tip is worn out especially for one of my priorities. Then today the tip ripped around where the shaft of the cane inserts. I'd like to think the tips were more durable, like your Bridgestone tires.
