Product description

AAKG, or, Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate, is actually an amino acid compound that provides a number of benefits to the body, particularly in regards to cell volume. L-arginine is basically arginine in its natural form that is then used to create a number of dietary supplements, including AAKG. AAKG is rich in a compound known as alpha ketoglutarate, which is actually a natural derivative of glutaric acid, and is a type of salt. AAKG contains different constituents, which each have different roles and functions within the human body. The alpha ketoglutarate for example, actually helps to break down certain amino acids and sugar molecules within the body. It functions as an intermediary within the citric acid cycle, which is also known as the krebs cycle. The krebs cycle is basically a selection of different internal processes which take stored glucose sugars, and break them down before converting them into Adenosine Tri-Phosphate, or ATP for short. ATP is a primary source of energy used by the muscles, so naturally the more ATP there is, the more energy the muscles will have. Not only that, but it also helps enhance cell volume via the increase in energy, which leads to more impressive muscle pumps. Plus, it has also been found to enhance nitric oxide levels, which increase vascularity, and it plays a vital role in protein synthesis.
