- Reviewed in Canada on May 12, 2015Verified PurchaseHad a popup that came with base pads and they worked great. My new trailer didn't come with base pads. Went camping a few times before deciding to buy these base pads and found that they made quite a bit of different in providing better stability. Before, I had to carry around wood to put the stabilizer arms on but now the base pads do the trick. You may get some noise while driving depending on how they are mounted. They can rattle around in the wind and when going over bumps. Not a big deal but I found that I drew a bit of attention to myself driving through quiet campgrounds because of these base pads.

- Reviewed in Canada on August 12, 2015Verified PurchaseSay goodbye to the blocks of wood under your trailer's feet. Install these bad boys, leave them on, throw the wood into the fire, and relax. No more fighting with trailer legs. When you get home give them a rinse off to get the mud off and get ready for your next trip! These are a super low maintenance mod that is a must for any trailer owner.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding quality. Too large for a small(er) Pop-Up Camper
Verified PurchaseI wasn't sure which size, these at just over 7in in diameter, or the other set at 6in in diameter, were going to work on our 2000 year model Coleman "Redwood" pop-up tent trailer. I ordered both. The "Redwood" model is a 10 foot long box camper, so it's a smaller camper. These were far too large in diameter, but they would have fit and worked perfectly. They're made out of thicker steel than the 6in version, and the quality is excellent. The 6in version fit perfectly, took 5min to install per jack, and the quality was also excellent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good value
Verified PurchaseThis set replaced an older set that was bent and rusted from nearly 15 years of rough use and outside exposure. The powder-coat finish may be more durable than the previous set. These pads replace putting blocks or plastic pads under the stabilizer feet of our travel trailer; always ready and they pivot to accommodate uneven ground. They distribute the weight of the stabilizer end, putting less stress on plastic blocks if you need to use them on sloping ground.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well. Some customization needed
Verified PurchaseWorks well and adds some stability to the leveling arms. I bought an old pop up and immediately added these as it is easier than placing blocks when you level. As a side note these are somewhat custom so you may need to cut the rubber bushing to make it fit. Not hard at all. Also some have complained that the supplied screw is really small, but the way this is designed the screw is just to hold the plate on the foot when raising it. When the foot is down it puts its weight on the plate, not the screw.
Also one of the arms on my popup was different as it was at one time replaced. Whoever replaced it didn't get it lined up fully and when the foot is down it sits at an angle (see photo). I don't think it will be a major problem as you virtually are never on level ground but it could eventually bend the footplate.
