These are very well constructed - much better than some of the major brand names that sell for more money! They don't have noise cancellation tech, but do seal very well to the ear, so room noise does not intrude. Cord is a generous length. The flaw is that the on/off switch for the microphone is too easy to slide to the off position - I wedged a portion of a wooden flat toothpick in the slider space such that they remain in the on position - it works well. Would definitely buy again, even with that one issue.

The 2.5mm cable fits and I've been told by others on the phone that they can now hear me better. The Mute button control doesn't work at all with my phone and the volume control isn't very strong, so I use the my phone handset buttons still for those functions, but it works well enough for me. Also over a long period of time the headset part starts to hurt my ear a bit, but I chose the single ear over the double ear headphones.
