Carrying the calculator with you enables you to get answers when and where you need them. What’s more, it has a backspace key that enables you to make easy changes to just-entered values. Plus, it has a 'Paperless' Tape that allows for review of the last 20 entries and double-check totals.

It has a cost per unit that easily solves unit costing. The calculators exponential notation function can be used to enter and display exponential values which can be stored in its accumulating memory (M+) plus three additional memory storage locations. Of course, it also works as a regular math calculator.

Solve complex construction-math problems using built-in functions. Get complete stair calculations including risers, treads, stringer length and incline angle. It also has a built-in right-angle function and a rafter function that provides common rafters, regular and irregular hips, valleys and jacks.

It takes the guessing out of compound miter cuts by giving you the blade tilt and angle for miter cuts. Its advanced solutions for circles, arches, columns, cones, pillars and more make laying out the job a breeze. You can also layout arched rake-walls with on-center stud spacing and cut angles.

    Great calculator for quick conversions and construction calcs to and from metric and imperial and mixing them up in between, which is pretty valuable. Buttons don't have that nice click to it that I'm used to from calculators such as the ti83, it's more stiff possibly to prevent button mashing and does slow you down a little bit. What I did wish it had was history entry display so I could enter a string of calculations and review or reuse them, my sharp calculator has this and it's a fraction of the cost.

    By trade, I am a structural and miscellaneous steel draftsman. When I started in this line of work, there was a limited amount of calculators to choose from, and most of them required the user to work in decimal form only. Then, I found the feet-inch calculator from Calculated industries. It changed everything for the better. The biggest advantage was that it cut down on the human error. There are times where I will have a string of dimensions to add or subtract. One of the features which aids in this is the "paperless tape". It will keep a running log of the current function the user is performing much like the old adding machine tape. The calculator only got better as time went on. The addition of the trig functions was a huge bonus. Probably the only con I have is it has a limited amount of memory storage. It only has three storable memories, and sometimes, I could really use five or six depending on the formula I have to run.
    Overall, I am a very satisfied customer...
