    Comes as shown, weighs pretty much exactly 2lbs, I would reccommend keeping it in a second bag and keeping it somewhere dry (or already premixed in concentrate) as Ca salts are always pretty hydroscopic.

    Was worried at first it was just urea as the pellets look similar but it doesnt melt when urea should, just gives off some water and the majority of the mass remains as a dry salt which means it's the hydrated salt which makes sense. Bought this for my spring seedling starting (some peppers etc. don't sprout well/fast without a nitrate soak, wild varieties even more so), if you use urea instead as a fertiliser indoors you get the smell of ammonia coming off your seedlings which would make my kitchen windowsills smell like a truck stop so I'm pretty happy. Wish it was cheaper but that applies to anything right now.

    Strawb leaves lime greenish : cal/mag-gged with the highly affordable Cal Nit and Epsom salts. Two days later a lush green! And so very little was used of this Calcium Nitrate. I can see where DIY formula experimenters could save a lot of money using this great salt with other powders and salts.
