I bought one of these about 2 years ago, but it didn't survive a move where it was jammed into some heavy items and then dropped. I loved it so much that I just bought the exact same model and I am expecting it to be just as great: for its size, it can cook an amazing quantity of food. You do have to buy a few custom cooking utensils that fit into the inside, but you can easily cook two racks of food at the same time or a small chicken. It comes with a rack as well as a pan: both work great and are easy to clean. Five stars!!

First the good news: The oven came in pristine condition and well packaged in three boxes. No damage, and not a used and dirty re-boxed item. All accessories were accounted for. And it's a nice-looking appliance.

Now the bad news: It has no timer (!) and interior light. The temperature settings are far from accurate.

Making toasts? Forget it. The attached picture shows my bread after two full dark cycles. The oven was barely warm.

The baking and broiling functions seem to be working okay but again you constantly have to keep an eye on it.

I'll be keeping it because I use it only infrequently and only for small portions like fries. And I have a regular toaster. If you're planning to use it for a family meal, you'll be let down and frustrated. So, it would be best to look elsewhere.

A disappointing product from Cuisinart.

EDIT: The addition of a thermometer and timer alleviates some of the shortcomings but not having a light means that you have to open the door and lose most of the heat every time. This oven (just like a regular oven) needs to be pre-heated for better results.
