The Magna-Trak 200 series locators are lightweight with an ergonomic handle with textured grip. Magna-Trak locators fewaure a water resistant impact plastic case that is epoxy sealed. The Speaker emis a deep ton under search conditions and a signal peak over ferrous objects. All 200 Series locators feature an LCD display for visual display of signal strength when locating ferrous objects.

    We been using it every week. We go out two, three sometimes four days a week to the field. Had it since July 2021. Used it in a rainy day and it died on us. It's not water proof or resistant. My son opened the case and found water had gone in. He dried it out with alcohol 90%. It cleaned the dried water stains from the electronic board. Put everything back a it's working like new. Will follow up on how long it keeps working. This item is too expensive for what it is, shame on you Bosch. Made in Malaysia. This should sell for $200 max

    I thought I would save some money buy spending half of what I should have spent on 3 or 4 of these over the past 2 years for my work. All of them worked great in the beginning. After about 6 months, the battery has to be taken out to reset the system so that they can work for a bit. Either the screen blanks out, sound is low, or just nothing at all. Take the battery pack out, reinstall, and it works again. Until you shut it off. Then repeat the same.
    No customer service to be found, so...
    At least they have a decent case for other things.
    I think the square handled expensive ones are better, but we are trying the Fisher brand now with good results.
