    The Craftsman 2 ½ inch gutter cleaning attachment to a shop vac is simply terrific. I have several huge maple trees around my and they fill the rain gutter all the time which means getting a ladder, gloves and getting messy. I bought mine in the spring finally got around to using it in July. The garage gutter filled the shop vac about half way and took 20 minutes to do a 36 foot gutter. Then maybe another 30 feet on the house. It took longer and more work to set up and move the shop vac. As I stood on the ground, I could see the progress through the vinyl gutters as the dark debris was vacuumed up. No ladder and most of no asking my son to do it for me, I have 8 decades behind me. Following other’s comments, I taped the pieces together, used the shop vac’s tubes for added length and it was simple. It took a little practice to get it suck up the wet, thick, heavy and rotting leaves, but the gutters appear clean now. I am very pleased with this product and more important so is my wife.

    I was hoping that these would fit my craftsmen leaf vacuum - thus allowing me to hang the vacuum over my shoulder and, using these attachments, vacuum my gutters, without the need for a ladder. They were real close in diameter, but not close enough. Wouldn't it be great if companies made all the attachments interchangeable rather than an 1/8" different between their tools? I did come up with a way to attach them - and they do the job - but I was hoping I could just attach them together without any modifications.
