Yes
Why is there a plastic smell? Why does the water have a taste when I used it for the first time?

The plastic components of the new water dispenser (such as the water tank, pipes, and ice tray) may retain volatile organic compounds released during the manufacturing process.
How should the water cooler be cleaned when received for the first time?

Thoroughly clean before first use, add an appropriate amount of food-grade cleaner (such as citric acid or white vinegar), and rinse thoroughly through multiple water circulation cycles (about 3-5 times).
How should I maintain the machine?

Do not use water with impurities, clean the ice maker and water tank at least once a month, avoid using hard bristle brushes or strong acid cleaners to prevent damage to the internal coating.
