The camera is good for what it is but if you're looking for exceptional quality in visibility then you're not going to get that. The wifi connection on the camera is strong, however the lag time between input control via my mobile device (in the app) to the camera itself is about 1-3 seconds at best and about 10-15 seconds at worst.
For my limited usage of the device I've noticed that when the camera is turning or moving any recording stops but continues as soon as it's done with the movements you've requested in the app. The IR Night Vision has a tendancy to kick on and off during the daylight / night shifting times of the day but that doesn't last too long.
I feel this camera works best for keeping an eye on my pets while I'm gone. I do like the tracking ability on the camera but there's a lot of times that it stops tracking quite easily. The speaker on the camera can barely be heard by my pets or my family especially if there's even a little bit of noise.
All in all, the camera works and does what it needs to and you get the videos that you need but I feel if you're a new parent with a baby, this would be the best usage to keep the camera still. However, this is a great starter camera for those who need it.
