Good fibre and prebiotic in one
Very large jar of Inulin sourced from chicory. Just pure inulin and no other additives. Not only is inulin a great source of fibre for keeping things regular, it's also a good prebiotic to promote the growth of good bacteria/probiotics. It's a very fine powder that dissolves really well. A friend of mine uses inulin when making homemade yogurt. Our elderly cat needs a little help in his diet and other fibre sources I've tried only made his constipation worse. A little pinch of this mixed into his wet food seems to do the trick without making him worse. Since it's odorless and flavourless he doesn't even notice it in his food. A very useful fibre that doesn't require a lot of it to get the job done so this large jar will go far and last a good while.

    I would make the scoop a 5g scoop instead of 1g since all the scientific evidence shows 5g per day is the beneficial amount. Also, scoop the dry powder into a clean (and dry) glass, then add water, it blends much better that way. Great tasting and after a few weeks I notice the difference in my health!

    I’ve ordered this item a couple times prior, but when I peeled back the container seal of this most recent order of Nov 2025 the powder smelled sickeningly of exhaust and noxious chemicals - so strong that it myself and my husband feel temporarily ill. I’m convinced some sort of machine broke down and started smoking or something during the manufacturing process and the product is contaminated. 鶹 refunded me but I emailed the Celex company directly to inform them of this incident and they never replied. I’m now sourcing other brands.
