    When down on my knees or even sitting on this, arms let me push off to get up. I use in the house also. Great to sit on when need to get into a washer on bottom of laundry tower. Of different choices I’ve found, Lee Valley model is one inch shorter which height has been great for me. The rest seem to be two inches taller than this one and I have found them harder to reach things ground level and they are less stable. I recommend this one without a problem.

    I've been gardening for over 20 years now and my knees just ain't what they used to be! I decided to give this garden kneeler a try to see if it could help me out. The foldable design is pretty handy - it's compact enough to fit in my small shed without taking up too much space. I like that I can use it as either a kneeler or a stool depending on what I'm doing. The construction seems pretty sturdy overall. The steel pipes feel solid and it easily supported my weight (I'm about 200 lbs). I've used it for planting flowers, weeding, and even painting my fence and it's held up well so far. The only thing is, the plastic caps on the ends of the pipes fell off pretty quickly. Not a huge deal but a bit annoying. The tool pouch is a nice touch. It's made from a thick polyester fabric and has a few different pockets to hold your tools. I found it convenient to have my trowel and pruning shears right there within reach while I was working. The pouch is a bit on the small side though, so don't expect to fit anything too big in there. Now let's talk about the padding. The kneeling pad is made from a dense foam that feels pretty cushy. It definitely helps reduce the strain on my knees when I'm kneeling down for extended periods. However, after about an hour or so, I still start to feel some discomfort. It's better than kneeling on the bare ground, but don't expect it to be a miracle solution if you have really bad knees. The non-slip feet are a good safety feature. They grip the ground well and I haven't had any issues with the stool sliding around, even on my slightly sloped lawn. The non-slip material on the armrests is a bit less effective though - my arms still tend to slip off if I'm not careful. Overall, I think this is a decent garden kneeler for the price. It's not perfect, but it gets the job done. The foldable design and tool pouch are handy features, and the padding does help reduce knee strain somewhat. Just keep in mind that it has its limitations - it's not going to magically make gardening a breeze if you have mobility issues.     I bought this to use after foot surgery knowing I would eventually use it in the garden. I'd prop it up in front of my bathroom sink or kitchen sink so I could do my makeup or dishes. Once recovery was over I've started using it for its intended purpose. It's heavy duty, fold easily and is comfortable. I like the rose color because I don't loose it in the garden easily. Also the pouch has a belt so I actually wear it as an apron. Much better than storage that only fits the chair. It also came with a cute pair of gloves. Ide recommend this for your gardening friends.

    I’m quite pleased with this little bench! I have busted up knees, and mourn my loss of being able to garden. I cannot use the “kneeler” side of the bench for longer than a few minutes, but I would recommend it to anyone who just needs a bit of help kneeling. The bench is sturdy, the pad is firm-yet-comfortable, and the handles make standing back up very easy. I do use the “seat” side of the bench — sometimes daily, and sometimes for hours. For the price, I would have expected something less quality. This bench has everything the pricer ones have, it seems to me. Great value. Easy to fold/store when not in use.
