- Reviewed in Canada on December 31, 2024Verified PurchaseThe game came quickly. My wife and I played it for hours and enjoyed reviewing our lived life history. The game may be tough for young people who don't have a lived history .

- Reviewed in Canada on December 27, 2023Verified PurchaseThis is a great game to test your knowledge of history. You don't need to necessarily know the exact year but a timeframe compared to other inventions or life events. You are choosing whether something happened before or after or in-between two other dates. It's surprising the things you learn.
- Reviewed in Canada on July 20, 2025Verified PurchaseExcellent game, a lot of cards, good variety. We just received it and played it for one night, it was fun. Looking forward to going through the rest of the deck!
- Reviewed in Canada on July 7, 2023Verified PurchaseI got the game as someone who likes history and geography thinking I'd beat my friends, but the questions on here are so relatable but still hard to know the exact year!
Anyone can play it, and guess where their card will fit on the timeline without knowing an actual year, everyone I've played it with has loved it. 10/10
- Reviewed in Canada on April 4, 2024Verified PurchaseThis game is fun, a good combo of “common” and more obscure trivia. We had fun with family from ages 14 and up. We used up all the cards by the end of Christmas break, but it was plenty of fun.
- Reviewed in Canada on October 3, 2019Verified PurchaseI bought this for a cottage rental in case it rained and from the moment we started playing, my Mom absolutely loved it! No real skill required as some of the events depicted are kind of obscure, but that is more than ok. Fun, educational and just about anybody can play.
Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyed with family and friends
Verified PurchaseEasy to learn, fun to play and test your knowledge against others. Having a good general knowledge of history and what advances influenced others will help you win. I've played it several times with different groups of older adults and they have all enjoyed it. Easy to travel with.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to learn and fun for the whole family!
Verified PurchaseA a recent family gathering, 3 generations sat down to play CHRONOLOGY and all enjoyed. Ages ranged from 10 years old to 83 years old. I love that there is really no skill involved, you can just guess. If you are a history buff, like my 83 year old father, and you've been around long enough to really see some stuff, you might have a bit of an edge, but even the best of us is forced to guess at the dates every now and then. The rules are simple, you get a card to start with. The card will list a historical event and the year it occurred. This is the starting point of your time line. With your next card, you need to decide if it happened before or after the date of your first card. From there you are building a time line, deciding where in your series of cards the events occurred, the first player to build a correct 10 card time line wins. It's simple, doesn't require keeping score, a timer or rolling dice, everything is in one compact box that is easy to take on the road to a friend's house. I will say you need a lot of table space to play this, laying out your cards in a line, especially if you have 4 or more players, takes up a lot of real estate, so pick a big table! Overall I think CHRONOLOGY will become a welcomed addition to your family game nights. Game play is quick, so you can use this as an ice breaker or filler at a party. You can even decide to build a shorter time line of only 5 or 8 cards, depending on how much time you have. It is especially fun at a New Year's Eve party, while waiting to usher in a new year, it's fun to reflect on all that has already happened!
