Really nice looking lamp in general, (with a solid base), without the dual purpose aspect of a grow light.
Its a great piece that looks good in a living room as decor lighting, but can help provide much needed supplemental light in a dark corner, for larger plants on the floor or on side tables. Love the matte black look so it matches with all my other accents and hardware, not to mention it was very simple to put together.

I was really nervous to get this plant light because it doesn't have many reviews, but it was exactly what I was looking for - a plant light that looks like a nice, regular lamp, so it blends in with my other decor. I fully anticipated that it would be a terrible lamp but was pleasantly surprised once I actually got my package. Everything comes in one tiny box and you screw the poles together, put the lamp shade on, then put the light bulb on. It takes less than 15 minutes. The lamp itself is about 5 ft high so it's better for plants either on the floor or on stands, and the lamp shade tilts only a bit so plants should be able to fit underneath to get enough light. It was super easy to build, and once you put in the lightbulb, it's plug-and-play. I don't really use the timer so I can't speak to that, but I did notice that my peace lily started growing upright instead of towards the window once I started using it, which lets me know it does work. The plant light isn't one of those crazy bright plant lights, so I am able to use it as just a regular lamp. Overall, really happy with this purchase.
