    I've had a Backgammon case of an almost identical design to this for over 40 years. I've won over my grandkids to play backgammon which they now love. So I bought them this as a gift so they'd have a complete case like mine. The quality of this case is at the low end but its price is half of the alternatives. It is definitely adequate for playing, slightly smaller than my original case. The clasps for the case are the cheapest quality but work (hopefully long term). I believe every househild should have one of these Backgammon cases to pull out to play with friends and family. If you don't want to spend a lot to have one this is the perfect buy. If you want one to become a family heirloom of sorts look for a better quality case, they will be at least double to four times the price of this one.

    We found the board to be a bit clumsy due to the stitching, the pieces don't slide very well. Pieces are small and light making them a bit tougher to handle. It does seem to be good quality, and good value for what we paid....its not expensive as boards go....you get what you pay for.

    Wir spielen regelmäßig Backgammon und so langsam musste ein neuer Spielkoffer her. Von außen ist der Koffer wunderbar, doch innen alles nifftelig.

    Kein glatter Boden, innen überall Erhöhungen, dadurch kann man die Steine, die auch einfach viel zu leicht sind und für Kinderhände durchgehen würden, nicht einfach rüber zum nächsten Feld schieben, man muss sie drüber heben, da rutscht man leicht ab und so passiert es oft, das man damit die anderen Steine verschiebt.

    Hier wurde so derart am Material gespart, dass keine Spielfreude mehr aufkommen kann. Die Würfel wirken wie Kinderwürfel. Für so viel Geld schlicht frech. Ganz und gar keine Kaufempfehlung.
