    This is a great product, good quality, extendable, sturdy, comfortable handle, easy to attach to the tiller and remains there. It has a universal joint, so it is easy to use.
    The only thing: it does not fold back along the tiller but remains at a 90 degree angle when not in use, which is kind of not very handy in a crowded cockpit.

    Excellent concept that does what it says it does. I use it on a Newport 55 mounted on a 1440 G3 (has a 10 horse gas motor so the troller is off center away from the driver's seat). When fully extended I can rest it on my knee and make small adjustments without leaning for the handle. I previously had an extension handle which was fine until I wanted to go hard starboard- then the extension actually made it worse. With the knuckle on this it's easy to put the motor in almost any position. And it will change speeds at any angle but 90 degrees. Really solid, maybe the stainless steel is overly solid. For my application carbon fiber, aluminum or even quality plastic would have worked. Highly recommended.

    The universal joint made it hard to control the tiller. Also the telescoping clamp slips when trying to change gears from neutral to forward or reverse and vice versa. Therefore I modified it by removing the universal joint and I drilled a screw through the poles at the desired length.
